828RC Pinched Squarebody Cab Only Body Kit for Redcat Ascent Apex
Give your Redcat Ascent Apex a custom squarebody look without changing your mounting setup. This 828RC cab-only body kit was designed to work with the stock Ascent Apex mounts, so there’s no need for aftermarket body mounts or magnets.
The cab features built-in provisions to reuse the stock front body hooks and stock rear body pins, making installation simple while still giving your build a completely different look. This kit includes a pinched C10-style cab, a detailed grille, front headlight lenses, and my new “snip-to-fit” front tube bumper, which can be trimmed by the builder to best suit their setup. Simply remove the 2 M2 bolts and stock body clips from the stock cab, and re-install onto the 828RC Squarebody. Clip fitment is tight by design. Use caution to not use too much force pressing clip on to new body.
The base kit includes a grey PLA Meta cab, single-color PLA Silk Silver grille, front headlight lenses, and a black PLA Meta bumper. Optional color printed kits include the multi-color grille, headlight lenses, and tube bumper.
This body is designed specifically for the Redcat Ascent Apex and uses the stock mounting system. Final bumper trimming is left to the builder so it can be tailored to tire size, wheel offset, and overall build style.
Turnaround Time
All 828RC printed parts are made to order. Typical turnaround time is 2–3 business days, but may take up to 2 weeks depending on workload and order volume.
3D Printed Parts Disclaimer
All parts are 3D printed in-house and may show minor layer lines, support marks, or small imperfections typical of printed parts. Some cleanup or light sanding may be required before final assembly or paint. Printed parts are durable, but not indestructible, so please install carefully and avoid over-tightening hardware.
Do not leave this body or any printed parts in direct sunlight, inside a hot vehicle, or in any confined high-heat space such as a mailbox, trailer, or storage box. Excessive heat can cause printed parts to soften, warp, or deform.
