828RC Squarebody COMP Body – SCX30

The 828RC Squarebody COMP Body is a competition-focused evolution of our standard Squarebody, designed specifically for maximum clearance and performance on the SCX30 platform. This version features a pinched cab, pinched bed, and a bobbed rear section to reduce overhang and improve breakover on technical terrain, while retaining the classic Squarebody styling.
A trimmed body profile combined with a tube front bumper allows for aggressive approach angles and improved tire clearance, making this body ideal for competitive and high-performance builds. Despite its comp-oriented design, modularity remains a core feature — the COMP cab and bed are fully interchangeable with the standard 828RC Squarebody, allowing you to mix and match configurations to suit your build.
The body is printed in PLA Meta and will be supplied in gray or black depending on material availability. It is delivered ready for paint. The tube front bumper is printed in durable PLA+ and designed to complement the aggressive clearance-focused profile of the body.
Includes cab, bed, front grille, front and rear lenses, front tube bumper, chassis mounts to mount to the stock chassis, and 8 magnets to secure the body to the mounts.
Some assembly and minor finishing may be required. It is recommended to test-fit all components prior to final assembly or painting.
COMP vs Standard Squarebody
The Standard Squarebody is designed to closely replicate the original full-bodied truck profile, offering a more scale appearance with fuller proportions and less aggressive trimming. It is ideal for builders who want a classic look while still maintaining trail performance.
The Squarebody COMP version is built with performance as the priority. The pinched cab, pinched and bobbed bed, trimmed body lines, and tube front bumper significantly improve clearance and reduce hang-ups on technical obstacles. While the appearance is more aggressive and competition-oriented, the modular design allows the COMP cab and bed to be directly swapped with the standard Squarebody components, giving builders flexibility between scale and comp setups.
All 828RC bodies are made to order. Typical turnaround time is 2–3 business days, but may extend up to 2 weeks depending on workload and material availability.
This product is 3D printed. Minor surface imperfections, visible layer lines, or small variations may be present and are normal with the 3D printing process. Parts are designed for durability and performance but are not indestructible. Light sanding, trimming, or finishing may be required for optimal fit and appearance.
