1.9 Wheel Two-Piece Scale Brake Rotors for SLW Hubs | 3D Print STL Files

These 828RC Two-Piece Scale Brake Rotor STL Files are designed for 1.9 wheels using SLW-style hubs and provide a highly detailed scale brake setup with separately printable rotor discs and top hats. The two-piece design allows the rotor and top hat to be printed in different colors or materials for a more realistic appearance.

The file set includes multiple rotor disc diameters so you can choose the size that best fits your wheel design and desired appearance. The separate top hat also allows you to independently adjust thickness if needed for your specific wheel and hub combination.

For the intended fit and appearance, the rotor disc should be printed at approximately 1mm thick. The top hat should be printed between 0.75mm and 1mm thick. Because wheel designs, offsets, hubs, and hardware can vary, minor scaling or thickness adjustments may be required for certain setups.

Printing Suggestions

For the best detail and surface finish, I recommend printing these parts with 1 wall and 100% infill. Enabling ironing on the top surface is also recommended to produce the smoothest and most finished-looking visible face.

A 0.2mm nozzle is highly recommended whenever possible, particularly for accurately reproducing the small cross-drilled details and other fine features in the rotor disc.

For the forged-carbon-style appearance shown in the product photos, the parts must be printed face-down on a textured print plate. The texture of the build surface is what creates the characteristic forged-carbon-like surface finish.

Actual results will vary depending on printer calibration, filament, nozzle size, layer height, slicer settings, and build plate.
