Hobby Plus Fortis Dakar Windshield Light Bar Cage & Roof Vent Kit

Give the Hobby Plus Fortis a more authentic rally-raid inspired front-end setup with the 828RC Dakar Windshield Light Bar Cage & Roof Vent Kit.

Designed specifically for the Fortis, this kit removes the factory roof visor and relocates the stock LED light bar from the roof to a lower position across the front of the cab, creating a much more aggressive Dakar-style appearance while retaining the factory lighting.

The windshield cage is 3D printed in black PLA+ 2.0 and installs using the factory light bar and visor mounting locations with the stock mounting hardware.

To install the factory LED light bar, the stock end caps are unbolted and removed. The original end-cap bolts are then reused to secure the light bar directly to the new cage.

A very small relief cut must be made in the upper passenger-side corner of the front grille where it meets the cab to provide clearance for the factory light bar wiring. Only a minimal amount of material needs to be removed.

Also included is a cab fresh-air roof vent designed to friction-fit into the rectangular roof opening originally used as the factory light bar wiring pass-through. No additional mounting hardware or adhesive is required for the vent.

Kit includes: windshield light bar cage and cab fresh-air roof vent.

Factory LED light bar and factory mounting hardware are reused and are not included with the kit.

This kit is made to order by 828RC. As with all 3D printed components, minor cleanup or fitting may be required before installation.
